SMSU participates in the Difficult Dialogues Initiative funded by the Ford Foundation

The SMSU Difficult Dialogues Initiative was first funded by the Ford Foundation in 2005. Since then SMSU has eagerly accepted the challenges and the possibilities that this funding brings and we find that there is a desire on our campus for:  awareness and acceptance of differences; programming that is relevant to our particular campus and to our classrooms; and reflection that leads to action.
