SMSU’s Economics Program provides students with the opportunity to understand how important factors such as scarcity, growth, and technology affect the performance of individual markets, national economies, and global economic conditions. A minor in economics is open to all students regardless of major or discipline. This minor can be completed in 12 months with no prior coursework other than mathematics (College Algebra).
