Student Resources
Frequently Asked Questions from Students.
E-application is where students who have never taken an SMSU College Now class enter their data so that they are in the system and can receive a Student ID (which they will use later in course registration). Over the course of the summer, we will compile a list of all accepted students, their ID, and their SMSU library barcode. We send this "master list" to each school so that when the classes begin the can disseminate the information to students for registration and course operation.
Step-by-step instructions for completing the E-application are available by selecting this link. As you complete the e-application you may be told there is a $20 charge and a requirement that transcripts be submitted: neither is accurate for College Now applicants There is NOT a charge for PSEO e-application nor do you need to send in high school transcripts.
You can also view a Power Point tutorial that explicitly demonstrates the two stage process: Setting up a MnSCU Account and Completing the E-application.
